Dallas, TX – In the second game, the Eraserheads started the game on a suffocating 14-0 run, and never looked back en route to a 55-37 wire-to-wire win over the reeling Dragonball Z. The Bruiser Brothers, Rommel Calaguas and Mike Beltran, bullied their way into the pain, while the speedy backcourt of Neil Bagalso and Kenz Jacob added to the Eheads balanced attack, to send the Dragons to the bottom of the team standings.

The Dragons were able to cut the deficit to seven, 28-21, on a triple by Richmund Echaore but were unable to get any closer as the Eheads pulled away with Rommel crashing the boards and piling in the points to the tune of a 16-10 double double effot.

Double-double machine, Tristan Moreno, left the game for good at the half for personal reasons, but still led the Dragonball Z with 10 points to go with his 4 boards and 1 block. Point-Center Gabe Gaw was the other bright spot for the winless Dragons filling the stat sheet with 11 points, 6 caroms, and 5 dimes.

Completing the effort for the Dragonball Z, Jet C(5 points), Arvin D (3points), Richmund (6 points), Jun C (2 points) while the Eraserheads all scored except Eric Natividad and Mark Anorico who did not play on the game.

The Eraserheads will face off with HeadSpin on the 1130am game on Week Three while Dragonball Z will face off the Voltes V at 930am.

PREVIEW

Dallas, TX – Still reeling from a Week One loss, both the Eraserheads and Dragonball Z will try to get the team in the win column and get their squads rolling.

Dragonball Z will still be anchored by Gabe Gaw (ankle injury), who will be playing multiple positions in the game. The team’s rotation of big men will be shared by Tiger Start and Jun Centeno. Young stalwart, Tristan Moreno, will have another game to showcase his variety of skills after finishing the Week One with an 18 points and 10 rebounds effort.

Dragonball Z will need to have their 3 point shooting activated in this game. This will not be a problem for Arvin Dela Cruz, Angelo Dela Cruz, and Richmund Echaore getting their looks from the rainbow territory. Jet Carreon will share PG duties with Yuhenyo Giron and direct the plays on the court.

On the other hand, the Eraserheads had an all-around effort from the whole team. Most of the players that played were able to score in the game despite having to defend the 3 point firepower of Voltes V in Week One.

Rommel Calaguas will lead the Eraserheads as they try to get their first win of the season. Richard Osay, fresh from an ankle injury, will again provide an overall performance and the team will need his scoring this time. Neil Bagalso provided a masterful PG performance in Week One showing off an array of basketball skills.

Their new kids on the block combination of Mark Anorico, Loven Villanueva, Kenz Jacob, Mark Lim. Veterans Mike Beltran and Nilo Concepcion will protect the paint for the Eraserheads.

Eraserheads and Dragonball Z are set to face off at 1030am on September 17th.
